Softchoice Corporation (“Softchoice” or the “Company”) (TSX: SFTC) today announced the results of its annual general meeting of shareholders (the ” AGM ”) held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
Election of directors
At the AGM, Softchoice shareholders elected eight directors, including seven current directors and a new director, Sylvie Veilleux.
Ms. Veilleux is a global technology leader, board member and former chief information officer with over 30 years of business experience, including considerable experience as a technology executive at leading companies. She has provided transformative data-driven solutions for organizations such as Apple, Franklin Templeton Investments, Salesforce, Mozilla and Dropbox during times of hyper-growth, scale and maturation. Sylvie was Dropbox’s first CIO, was named to the Forbes CIO NEXT 2021 list of Top 50 Innovative CIOs, and was recognized as a Distinguished CIO by the California Diversity Council. Ms. Veilleux is currently an independent director of Europcar Mobility Group, a public company based in Paris, and an independent director of several private companies headquartered in Canada and the United States.
