As the Jewish “high holy days” of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur approach, it’s a great time to broaden your horizons and discover the gems of kosher wine that Israel, California, Italy and France have to offer. With the holidays beginning September 25, it’s not too early to start thinking about the festive meals, gatherings with loved ones, and other traditions that go along with Jewish fall holidays.

Fortunately, these remarkable wine regions had another bumper year for kosher wine production. That means there’s a great selection of exciting releases to choose from – and one less thing to worry about. They’re ready to serve now, so whether you’re planning to host a crowd or be a guest, you’re sure to find something deliciously suited to the holiday table.

About Kosher Wine: Before picking up a bottle of your favorite wine for the Passover Seder, check the label. Chances are your favorite bottle isn’t kosher. In general, “Kosher” is a term used to describe foods that meet the strict dietary standards of traditional Jewish law. This also applies to wine. The amateur sommeliers among us will know that to make wine, yeast is necessary for fermentation. However, what separates kosher wine from non-kosher wine is that according to Jewish law, kosher wine is made with a mold made from fruit or sugar – not bread. All Royal Wine Corp wines and spirits are Certified OR Kosher.
