IRVING, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading provider and integrator of advanced computing, communications, networking and biometrics solutions, today announced that Gary Lac has joined the company as Vice -solutions president. Gary brings to NEC over 20 years of experience selling, developing and delivering biometrics and identity solutions.

As VP of Solutions, Gary will oversee product standardization with a focus on simplifying project deliveries as well as launching new products for NEC’s growing customer base. It will support the verticals of state and local government, NEC National Security Systems (NSS), and digital services.

Prior to joining NEC, Gary led the Solutions Innovation organization at Idemia, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of digital identity solutions, facial recognition solutions for aviation and border control, fingerprint digital contactless events and industry benchmark events for emerging technologies. Additionally, Gary also led the Public Safety Pre-Sales Solutions organization where he developed scalable processes and standardized demonstrations that drove sustainable growth.
