FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC), one of the world’s leading agricultural science companies, announced the establishment of the Ningbo Intermediate People’s Court in zhejiang province, China, granted FMC Agro Singapore Pte. Ltd a preliminary pre-trial injunction to stop infringement of a patent on chlorantraniliprole. Chlorantraniliprole is the primary insecticidal ingredient in FMC under the brand name Rynaxypyr® active.

The pre-trial preliminary injunction prevents Zhejiang Yongtai Technology Co. Ltd. (“Yongtai Technology”) to engage in any activity offering to sell chlorantraniliprole until FMC’s patent expires, including doing so at trade shows.
