ST HELIER, Jersey, July 13 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc (“Caledonia” or the “Company”) (NYSE AMERICAN, AIM and VFEX: CMCL) announces record gold production from the Blanket mine in Zimbabwe (“Blanket”) for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 (“Q2 2022” or the “Quarter”). All production figures are expressed on a 100% basis and are based on the final dosage to the refiners.

- 20% increase in quarterly production on the 16,710 ounces produced in Q2 2021
- Gold produced in the first half of 2022 was 38,606 ounces, approximately 29% more than the 29,907 ounces produced in the first half of 2021

Production excludes an estimate of approximately 1,500 recoverable ounces of gold included in a stockpile of ore that will be processed following the commissioning of a capacity of additional grinding in the coming weeks.
